50 DAYS AND COUNTING…already the Albuquerque skies are bright with colorful balloons!
The crisp fall chill in the air and smell of green chile roasting usher in a fresh and welcome season - nowhere on Earth that we have been comes close to providing such a wonderful tingling of the senses! It is not just a relief from the scorching sun but also being surrounded by a painted landscape of stunning colors!
During the Balloon Fiesta there are many fun and exciting events going on. Below we list just a few. There are many websites that detail city and state wide events. Here at the BnB we offer a few closer to home.

RED HORSE BnB ACTIVITIES
Carl’s Horse Racing Experience
Carl Londene, property founder, raced many horses over the years and loves to visit the race track. It is
such an exciting experience and the beautiful Sandia mountains are the backdrop. Enjoy food and
beverages while Carl guides you through the betting process. You are sure to be a winner even if it is

Races will be held at 6:00 pm on October 6, 7, 11, 13, 14 and at 1:00 on October 8th
Cost is $20 which includes entry to the Turf Club to watch the races *MUST reserve in advance.
Take Home a Treasure
While here, paint your own piece of ceramic art poured by Carl or if time, pour your own! We have
several pieces ready to be painted and take the next day or spend a few days working on a piece to
take home. There is always our gift shop with finished pieces that are ready to wrap and enjoy at home! Prices vary.
Never painted ceramics before? No stress! We will show you the basics and set you free to create a masterpiece!

Dining at Red Horse BnB
There are still openings for meal reservations at Red Horse BnB. Albuquerque boasts so many delicious New Mexican and other restaurants that we hope you get to experience. However, in a city that swells to five times its normal population, the lines get a bit discouraging.
PLEASE make reservations early at restaurants you want to enjoy. This includes meals here.
Breakfast - on the go or a hot meal here, are included in your room rate. Lunch and dinner can be reserved to enjoy on property or to take a picnic basket with you.
A list of our special meals will be sent in September. This includes our specialty Chuckwagon style meal around the fire pit!
